The past week and a half have been a bit tough. Both kids have had icky colds. Megan seems to finally be on the mend, but Nathan's nasty cough has been holding on. Although, last night I didn't have to get up in the middle of the night as early as past nights to give him his medicine, so I'm hoping today is the upswing! Both kids' noses still need a lot of wiping! :-)
On top of Nathan's awful cold, last night I felt a 2nd tooth that's popped through on his bottom gum! No wonder he's been absolutely miserable! Poor little guy!
In spite of the sickness, Ben and I still have much to be thankful for! Thankful most of all for our Savior!
II Corinthians 9:15 "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift."
Thankful for each other. The Lord has given us a wonderful marriage.
Thankful, too, for our beautiful children that He has blessed us with. Years ago, we wondered if we'd have any...
Thankful for our families.
Thankful for our church family. Thankful for our WARM and cozy home. Thankful that the Lord always provides for our needs and blesses us so many times with our wants. Thankful for so many things!
Leaving you with a few pictures. Megan got a flower from Grandma P. She calls it "ROE-SISS!" (roses). And, she likes to wear it behind her ear:

Megan and Nathan playing. Megan is laughing LOUDLY and Nathan is just, well, tolerating his sister! Actually, he thinks she's pretty funny. :-) He lights up whenever she calls him BUD or KIDDO!

Our Megan's imagination... she put styrofoam bowls on top of her head. Ok, no real surprise there. But, then, I overheard her saying, "CAPTAIN!!!" I turned around to see her saluting as well! Where she picked that up, I don't know...but, it made me laugh. :-) (All while dressed in her Cinderella dress-up gown)...

Hope you all have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! We'll be having turkey dinner at our house on Thursday with Grandma P, and then planning to visit my family this weekend. Please pray that Nathan's cold is all better by then!! I know Aunt Stacey is anxious to see Micah (who just turned one!!) and Nathan walking and playing together!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
